Västra Hoby Church lies in the countryside outside Lund. The church tower here dates back to the medieval period, while the rest of the present neo Romanesque building was built in the late nineteenth century. A nineteen panelled triptych, depicting the events of the Passion, hangs in the church. This was made in the fifteenth century and is well worth seeing. The altarpiece is a good copy of a Carl Bloch painting. The church retains its original medieval font.
