The Västra Göinge Local History Museum lies in the local history park (or Hembygdsparken), a delightful area in the centre of Hässleholm. The museum contains an extensive collection of artefacts related to domestic life in the past such as cooking utensils, furniture and textiles. It also holds an extensive collection of old musical instruments. There are rooms here which have been recreated to resemble the workshops of artisans and traditional craftsmen. The park contains a coffee shop.
