Värö Nature Reserve is located on an island in lake Algustorpasjön. The reserve contains dense and established woodland. Despite the reserve’s small area you can find patches of pure pine and spruce woodland, as well as areas of deciduous and mixed forest. The landscape is quite hilly. This makes for an unspoilt area that supports a rich range of flora and fauna, including rare plants and flowers.
