The oldest parts of Vittinge Church were built in the twelfth and thirteenth centuries. The church is particularly attractive to visitors because of its interior frescoes. These were painted in the late fifteenth century by the acknowledged master Albertus Pictor, and were restored in the late nineteenth century. The church has a fine pulpit made in 1680. There is an eleventh century rune stone next to the church. Guided tours are available by prior arrangement.
