Vargön is an island in the Piteå archipelago. It is a popular recreational area, not least because of the forested conservation areas Koskäret and Koskärshalsen, which attract many visitors. There are marked paths through the woodland. There is also a long sandy beach, ideal as a base for swimming during the summer. The bay here is popular with boating visitors owing to its sheltered location. There are some well preserved traditional fishing cottages here. It is possible to overnight in a cottage here.
