Vankiva Church lies in a little village just to the north of Hässleholm. The oldest parts of the church date back to the twelfth century. The church was substantially extended in the 1850s, when the tower was built. Of the church’s inventory, the most treasured possession is a medieval processional crucifix that depicts Christ as King. The largest bell in the bell tower was cast in the thirteenth century.
