The Uppsala Cathedral Museum contains the treasury of Scandinavia’s largest cathedral. There are a wide range of items that were used by royalty, including a gold dress of Queen Margrethe I, and a golden chalice belonging to Queen Christina. There are some beautiful vestments here that were used by medieval bishops. Indeed, this is one of the foremost collections in the world of fine textiles. Guided tours are conducted daily during the high season.
