Although it might seem strange to include a cemetery in tourist attractions, this place is definitely worth a visit if only for the stunning setting and the grave of Greta Garbo. The area is now on the UNESCO World Heritage Site list and was designed by architects Gunnar Asplund and Sigurd Lewerentz after they won a competition in 1915. There are a number of beautiful grassy areas with pine trees, and although a cemetery isn’t everyone’s idea of a good place to visit this site has some amazing scenery and architectural features to view.
