The Swedish Parliament (Riksdagen) is architecturally striking and set in lovely surroundings. Indeed this is a popular area to sunbathe and relax during the summer. The Parliament is open to visitors, and guided tours are often available, which are an interesting way to find out about the history of the building and the polity. There are public galleries where you can watch debates when the Parliament is in session.
