This interesting medieval church lies just to the south of Halstahammar. It was built in the thirteenth century at a time when the Romanesque style was evolving into Gothic. The church contains an orignal bridal pew from the fourteenth century. As was typical of smaller medieval country churches, no tower was built onto the church, and none has since been added. Instead the bells hang in a seperate wooden belfry containing two sixteenth century bells.
