The highly-renowned Swedish playwright August Strindberg used to live here, and his home has now been turned into a museum dedicated to his life and works. In 1908 Strindberg moved into this apartment, which marked his return to Sweden after a long absence when he travelled throughout Europe. The apartment now contains the museum which has many exhibits documenting his life and talents, from his writings to his photographs and art works. One interesting feature of the museum is the fact you need to put white slippers on to enter, so as to stop the floor from being damaged.
