The Stockholm Olympic Stadium has a proud history, and was originally created for the 1912 Olympic Games. Although the stadium has been undergoing renovations over the last few years, it is extremely well preserved and still hosts sporting events of all kinds. The architecture is truly amazing and is definitely one for the photo album. However, facilities are somewhat old-fashioned and the service can be a little frustrating compared to modern stadia. Despite this, its historical charm and brilliant architecture make it a great place to visit.
