The headquarters of the Royal Swedish Academy of sciences set up in this hill-top observatory after its inception in the 1740’s, although the site is now a museum. There are guided tours of the site, where you will get an insight into the working lives of scientists in history and how they went about inventing and solving problems. You can also look through the telescope during winter months, although for the guided tours you will need to book in advance for an English version.
