Steninge Castle is located just north of Lake Mälaren and was built in the 17th century. Although not the grandest of castles from the outside, it has more exhibits inside than most other royal buildings. The cultural centre tells of royal life both past and present, and there is also an excellent collection of royal glassware. The palace also plays host to temporary art exhibits in the summer, making it an extremely interesting and varied place to visit.
