Stadsparken lies a few hundred metres to the south east of the Cathedral, which marks the city centre of Lund. The park is an established one and is a popular recreational area for both local people and visitors to the area. It was laid out in 1907 by Theodor Wåhlin. The park contains a small lake near its centre. In the nineteen nineties a maze, made of hornbeam, was added by the designer Oscar Reutersvärd.
