Known originally for its giant pipe organ containing over 10,000 pipes and 138 stops, the town hall of Stockholm is also home to the annual Nobel Prize banquet. Used for various ceremonies and official purposes, the building has a number of excellent architectural features. This includes the Golden Hall, with scenes from Swedish history shown in gold leaf around the hall. The venue is also used for expensive marriage ceremonies, which take place in the lavish Oval Room.
