Sörby Church lies in the countryside a few miles due east of Hässleholm. The church was built in the early thirteenth century. During the nineteenth century the stepped gabled tower was added. The church has a font which dates back to the building’s foundation. Above the altar hangs a late medieval crucifix which in pre Reformation times would have been used for processions. The pulpit is in Renaissance style and was carved in the late sixteenth century.
