The Skoklosters Palace is one of the grandest royal palaces in all of Sweden, with its white plastered stone façade and four round corners being particularly distinctive features. Another highlight of the palace is the jousting tournament held in the summer at the palace. Despite being commissioned by Count Carl Gustav Wrangel in 1654, the Count himself spent only two nights in the grand palace due to the time taken to build the structure and the country’s state of war at the time.
