Skåne Konstförening Art Association lies on Stortorget, the main square of Malmö. It was founded in 1904. Its gallery showcases some of the best art produced in the region, and exhibits in a variety of media. It mounts about eight temporary exhibitions per year. As well as art produced locally, the association has gained a reputation for introducing artists from abroad and elsewhere in the Nordic world onto the Swedish scene. The association hosts a variety of events, performances, and lectures.
