Sahlins Strutts Ostrich Farm offers the visitor the chance to go on guided tours and learn about these fascinating creatures and the get up close and personal with them. A wide range of activities are offered here. There is a cafe where you can taste ostrich steak and even ice cream made with ostrich eggs. A souvenir shop sells all manner of ostrich-related merchandise. This is an interesting family day out. The farm lies about six kilometres from Borlänge town centre.
