Rostö and Nordanö are two islands which form a nature reserve in Ösjön, to the east of Borlänge. They are covered in attractive and established deciduous woodland and provide a habitat for a rich and varied range of plant and animal life. There are also pine and spruce trees here. The reserve was established in 1993. It can be reached by boat in summer or by walking across the ice in wintertime. There is a morring place and toilet block on Nordanö.
