Ramsta Church was built to resemble a medieval church to the designs of architect Sven Brandel. Some of the most important items of inventory from the medieval church that once stood on the site have been retained. These include a triumphal crucifix, which would have been used for processions in the Middle Ages, made in the fourteenth century. The church lies in the countryside about twenty kilometres to the southwest of Uppsala city centre.
