This charming medieval church dates back to the second half of the twelfth century. A tower has never been added, and the church belfry, from the eighteenth century, stands on a hill nearby. The church is believed to be one of the oldest in Blekinge. The beautifully carved wooden font and pulpit were both made at the end of the seventeenth century. The altar, which is made of grey stone, is original, and stands where it was placed at the church’s foundation.
