Norra Fågelås Church lies about five kilometres from Hjo. It is one of the oldest churches in the region, and was founded in the twelfth century. Several alterations and expansions have taken place over the past few hundred years. One of the church’s most precious items of inventory is a crucifix that dates from the fifteenth century. The interior of the church features the many graves and epitaph inscriptions from the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries.
