Natural History Museum
Frescativägen 40, Stockholm 10405 - Sweden

Map

Created in 1739, this is the biggest museum complex in all of Sweden. There are a staggering nine million samples of biological and mineral material in the huge brick building. The building itself was designed by Axel Anderberg, who was also responsible for creating the Royal Opera in Stockholm. Although the museum has a long and proud history, it is still very much up to date and includes popular exhibits such as a spaceman’s cockpit and the only IMAX cinema in all of Sweden.
