Containing literally hundreds of intricate model ships, this maritime museum was built in 1936, with the building itself being designed by Ragnar Östberg. The museum spans two floors and has a wide variety of maritime exhibits, with everything from statues of sea monsters to the interiors of ships from the 1870’s and 1970’s. A treat for any boat or history lovers visiting Stockholm, the museum tells you all you need to know about Scandinavian boating history and what life at sea was like.
