The Mineral Museum lies in the countryside a couple of miles to the east of Lund, not far from the small town of Södra Sandby. It is a private collection, the fruit of twenty five years work by amateur geologists Anita and Bo Tuvesson. The collection contains more than thirteen hundred specimens. Of particular interest is the extensive and varied collection of fossils. More than three hundred are on display, many collected in the local area.
