Uppsala Medical History Museum contains several permanent exhibitions. One is on the history of the University Hospital of Uppsala. The Elisabet Dillner collection deals with popular medicine. There are also displays on pharmaceutical history and the history of health care. A substantial library is housed here. The museum is adminsitered by Uppsala University. It lies about four kilometres south of the city centre and is accessible by bus.
