Mariestad Golf Club is located just to the west of the town centre and is idyllically situated on the banks of Lake Vänern. The course, which has a full eighteen holes, offers fabulous views from many points. The club has a shop. Professional instruction is available. There is a good restaurant here. Visitors, including juniors, are welcome to play either the full eighteen holes, or just nine, on payment of the appropriate green fee.
