Lungsund Church has a beautiful altarpiece and carved pulpit, both made in the seventeenth century. The church itself was built in 1643, and the tower was added about forty years later. The largest church bell was cast in 1671. A Victorian restoration completely changed the character of the church, but in the nineteen fifties it was restored again and now is much more seventeenth century in style. The church lies nine kilometres to the southwest of Storfors.
