The Liljevalch Gallery (known in Swedish as Liljevalchs Konsthall) has for almost a century been renowned as one of the leading galleries in Europe. It exhibits modern and contemporary art from both Sweden and overseas. The annual spring exhibition is particularly keenly awaited and showcases some of the best work by up and coming Swedish artists. Next door to the gallery is the famous Blå Porten Cafe and Restaurant, where art enthusiasts gather for drinks, meals, and to enjoy the beautiful gardens.
