Liagärde Nature Reserve is a forested area that stretches around a mountain top. There are wonderful views across a fine lake from various points. The forest is made up of a mixture of deciduous and coniferous trees. The sight of sheep and cattle grazing in the hazel grove, in time honoured manner is particularly delightful during the summer months. The nature reserve was established in 2002 and lies a few miles due north of Kinna, the main settlement of Mark.
