Lake As is a beautiful, clean lake, and one of the jewels of the area. It is fed by natural springs and is a protected area. There is a bathing area where you can make the most of a visit here, on the Pinte promontory. The lake is situated about ten kilometres away from the centre of Aneby, and is near to the historic medieval church at Askeryd, itself a worthwhile attraction.
