Lackalänga Church lies just to the south of Kävlinge. The church dates back to the twelfth century. It is particularly worth visiting owing to its excellent medieval frescoes, covered over at the time of the Reformation, and which are almost as old as the church itself. The paintings were revealed and restored in 1949 and these alone make the chúrch a worthwhile visitor attraction.
