Kristianopel Church is dedicated to the Holy Trinity. This church began to hold services in 1624 and was built by the Danes, when they held this part of Sweden. The previous church had been destoyed by Swedish forces. The church is beautiful example of the architecture of its time. There is a royal pew, where the name slate is of King Christian IV of Denmark. The large and beautiful altarpiece is particularly worth seeing.
