Götlunda Church is believed to have been founded in the twelfth century. The oldest item to be found inside, the font, dates from this period. The church retains its meieval walls but was substantially rebuilt in the eighteenth century. The interior contains an altarpiece of high quality. The church lies in the countryside about fifteen miles to the west of Arboga. It serves a parish of the established Swedish National Lutheran Church.
