Färgargården is an open-air museum that shows how dyes were mixed and made during the eighteenth century. You can see original stables, houses and dying equipment. The museum lies beside an old-fashioned garden, where the materials for dying were grown. It is beautifully situated in the city centre, near to the river. There are excellent walking trails starting from here. There is an open air cafe here that serves excellent coffee, waffles and home baking during the summer.
