Fjelie church lies in a small village in the countryside to the east of Lomma. The church dates back to the twelfth century. Its architecture, which developed over time, reflects both the Romanesque and Gothic styles of the medieval period. The church contains pre Reformation frescoes from tow periods. It also possesses a rare carved wooden figure of the Virgin Mary from the Romanesque period.
