Dalby Church was built in the Romanesque style typical of the thirteenth century. It was substantially rebuilt in the second half of the seventeenth century by the master of Hammarskog Castle, Knut Posse, who incorporated a chancel and crypt. The church’s most precious treasure is the crucifix, which would once have been used in processions, and which was made in the fourteenth century. The church lies in countryside to the south of Uppsala.
