The Bergkvara Maritime Museum is housed in a warehouse in the harbour of this historic port. The museum houses a wide range of interesting artefacts that will interest anyone fascinated by seafaring. Among the curiosities are the coffin of a sailor twice shipwrecked and a pair of German World War I binoculars. There are fine collections of photographs, paintings and models of ships. You will see all manner of naval equipment and paraphenalia on display.
