The Swedish Army Museum houses a vast collection of weapons, uniforms and equipment. The exhibitions are spread over three floors and guide the visitor from the Viking Age right up to the present day. The Trophy Chamber contains a huge collection of valuable items taken as bounty by Swedish soldiers throughout the ages. Many beautiful dress uniforms are shown on life size dummies. Guided tours are available. The museum has a restaurant. It houses an archive and library.
