Arby Church was founded in the twelfth century, when a wooden church was erected, and by the thirteenth century a stone church stood here. This is the basis of the current church, which was substantially rebuilt in the early nineteenth century. The inventory of the church contains a medieval font that dates from its earliest years and a crucifix from the thirteenth century. There is a seperate belfry outside the church, which has no tower. Arby Church lies about twenty kilometres south of Kalmar.
