Alnarp lies in the beautiful agricultural land between Malmö and Lund, near Lomma. The great manor house was built in the late nineteenth century to house the Alnarp Agricultural Institute. It is particularly famous for its beautiful gardens, which have the largest number of tree and plant species of any in the country. Special events are held here. Guided tours of the park, the agricultural museum and library are available.
